Our church was founded on a simple idea – that you can never be separated from God’s love. This fact has deeply practical implications. God’s love is no mere abstraction. It’s something you can feel. It’s something that heals. That’s why we’re here: to see and feel God’s love in each of our lives and in our community every day.

In preparation for our discussion:
- Please read the entire book.
- What predominant themes did you notice from the first 50 years after the discovery of Christian Science versus the second? How are they similar or different to those of today?
- Was there anything in the readings you found to be particularly inspiring?
- Bonus: If you were to contribute a brief testimony about your experiences in Christian Science up to now, what would you say? Take a few minutes to write it down and consider sharing with the group.
